Allyson Tohme

Master Dog Trainer

Allyson is a dog trainer with over 20 years experience of owning, training and competing with her dogs, primarily in Working Trials where she has campaigned two Weimaraners to TDex level, proudly gaining one "ticket" along the way. She is also a judge approved by the Kennel Club to award tickets in the Tracking Dog stake.  
Allyson has also qualified her own German Shepherd Dog in the sport of Schutzhund to level 3, competing at the GSD league Nationals.

In addition to this Allyson is also a KC approved examiner for the  Good Citizens Dog Scheme to Gold level as well as being a Temperament Assessor for Pets as Therapy.  Allyson also holds the National Certificate in Canine First Aid and assesses Weimaraners and potential homes for two Breed Rescues. Not content with excelling at two different sports, Allyson has also competed successfully in Agility, Showing (including  class wins at Crufts), and achieved a Working Gundog Certificate with the only dog in the UK to hold both an FH2 and TDex qualification.

Allyson is an enthusiastic Clicker Trainer and holds both CAP 1 and CAP 2 levels in the Competency Assessment Program run by Learning About Dogs.

Allyson offers 1:1 specialist training in both Working Trials and clicker training for the competitive owner.
