Dog Trainer
Fiona Holdsworth has a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons Zoology), which provided a foundation for a lot of theoretical dog training and behaviour knowledge, this was enhanced further by the completion of a National Diploma in Animal Care in 2001. Fiona’s practical experience has been acquired over many years from owning her first German Shepherd in 1986. Fiona joined Waldridge Fell Dog Training Society that same year and her enjoyment of training took off from there. She has trained various breeds of dogs for obedience and agility, competing nationally over many years. Fiona currently owns and trains her German Shepherds and Border Collies for obedience and agility.
Fiona has operated her own dog training and behaviour business under the name of Pursuits 4 Pawz since 2006 to promote good dog ownership and show people that owning and training a dog can be fun and rewarding with various disciplines. All of the training is positive and enjoyable for both dog and handler. Types of training available include; One to One Sessions, Puppy Socialisation Classes, Pet Obedience Classes, Competitive Obedience Classes, Agility, Rally ‘O’
