 Heather Stevens
Master Dog Trainer
Heather has been working with dogs for over 30-years. Her dog training background is in Competition Obedience and Heelwork to Music, but has also competed in Agility and shown several of her dogs in the breed ring. Having taught at a variety of dog training clubs since 1987, Heather now runs her own Dog Training School and a Behaviour Practice, both of which cover a large part of North Yorkshire.
Heather is a Member of the Canine & Feline Behaviour Association, a Kennel Club Approved Examiner for the KC Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme, and a qualified Reiki Practitioner.
An owner of rescue dogs for more than 20 years, Heather is also a Rottweiler breed specialist who remarkably has personally rescued, retrained and re-homed over seventy Rottweilers.
Heather also specialises in teaching children to be safe around dogs, which she does with the help of Benny (pictured) who has been assessed and approved to work with children in schools.
