Dog Trainer
Kirsten has been working as a dog trainer for a number of years after changing her lifelong career as a Flight Attendant. She currently teaches all kinds of obedience and life skills, from puppies to adult dogs, along with agility, gundog and scent work and social skills for the less than friendly. She is also a qualified behaviourist and can work with your Veterinarian in providing behaviour management for problem dogs.
She is able to offer pre puppy advice such as choosing a breed, choosing a breeder and choosing a puppy. She also offers assessments for dogs you may be considering rescuing or re-homing, or can provide an assessment for a dog you need to re-home yourselves.
Working in Surrey, London and the surrounding areas, Kirsten feels passionately about helping people to live harmoniously and happily with their dogs and by using the very latest positive, reward based training and also the science behind canine learning, her aim is to help anyone and everyone teach their dog to live a safe and happy life alongside us.
Kirsten has various diplomas in training, communication and body language, reactive dog classes and has an advanced diploma in Canine Behaviour (hons).
She is a member of the Institute for Animal Care Education and is an authorised trainer of assistance dogs for Dog A.I.D. (Assistance in Disability).
