Mia was brought up on a farm, surrounded by family as well as working
dogs from birth and has a lifetime of hands-on experience of working
with them. Passionate about dog training, behaviour and welfare,
she has achieved the Cambridge Institute National Dog Training Instructors
Certificate and looks forward to continuing life-long study with
the Canine Studies Degree course.
Mia runs Best Start Dog Training whose philosophy is that, with
appropriate exercise, happy dogs are well trained dogs and offers
one to one basic puppy and dog training either in clients homes
or out and about, and also holds group classes for puppies and graduation
classes for older dogs, where at all levels, the small numbers guarantee
a friendly atmosphere and plenty of individual attention.
