Rachel has had a lifelong interest in dogs and in 2006 she qualified as a professional dog groomer where she has handled many different breeds and has since been propelled into a career of dog training and behaviour, which has become her passion. She has completed several courses with The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training and continues to study towards achieving her Advanced Instructors certificate. Rachel has also trained with renowned dog trainer and behaviourist Gwen Bailey and has qualified as a puppy school tutor.

Rachel offers personal One 2 One training for both puppies and adult dogs from her indoor and outdoor facilities in Gloucestershire. Courses are designed to be fun and easy to follow and range from basic to more advanced levels of obedience training.  

To ensure that a healthy relationship is maintained between owner and dog, Rachel puts an emphasis on educating her clients about canine behaviour, helping the owner to understand why their dog does what it does and how to avoid common canine behaviour problems from developing.

She has also recently introduced a range of ‘Master classes’ dealing with specific canine behavioural issues from jumping up, pulling on the lead and poor recall response, all of which are held in small groups in order to maintain the high level of personal attention Rachel strives to give all of her clients. These group sessions are fun and sociable and are proving to be a big hit with owners and dogs alike.

Rachel recognises that the average dog owner of today has to balance the demands of modern day living with pet ownership, resulting in some owners simply being unable to devote as much time as they might like, towards helping their dog develop to its full potential. In response to this Rachel works closely with owners to ensure that they can still have a well trained and balanced pet by developing individual and realistic training programmes, tailored to their personal circumstances and requirements.
