Rita has operated and instructed at obedience training classes for many years. Currently specialising in newly adopted dogs from the local rescue centre where she is now a prominent figure in helping to raise funds for the centre.

Rita spent many years on the committee of the local RSPCA branch and 12 years on ‘the committee of fund raising’ for the local RSPCA Rescue Centre.

Rita has owned and bred German Shepherd dogs for over 30 years Rita has a background within Working Trails and now competes with her own dogs where she has achieved CDX, UDX, WDX, TD and PD status

Rita is also a qualified Working Trails Judge and now holds and instructs Working Trails classes to help others train and compete with their own dogs.
