Dog Trainer
Vicky offers one-to-one puppy training and pre-puppy consultations
and takes on some referred behavioural cases.
Vicky worked at a German Shepherd Kennel for many years and was
heavily involved in the training and general care of the dogs and
whilst there ran 'swimming for dogs’ for fun and fitness catering
for all breeds.
For some years Vicky assisted with training at obedience classes.
Always seeking to keep up to date with the most recent methods,
she has attended numerous canine behaviour and training courses
including Jan Fennell’s Dog Listening, and she has undertaken
numerous courses within the Cambridge
Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training. Vicky’s pleasure
is in helping owners enjoy contented, well behaved dogs by offering
training help and resolving unwanted and problematic behaviour.
Vicky owns two German Shepherd Dogs and a Rottweiler each have taken
their Good Citizen Awards to Gold which they passed first time. Vicky is also training
one of her dogs within the Working Trails Disciplines and will be
competing with him throughout this year.
