Sue Fryer

Editor of The Guild of Dog Trainers’ newsletter

After over 20 years experience training her own dogs and other peoples in club environments and competing in Obedience, Agility & Flyball, Sue founded her one to one dog training business, Sit(Sue's Individual Training) Dog Training in 2005.

Sue specialises in training owners and their pet dogs and enjoys working on a One to One basis in clients own homes and local open spaces. Sue feels it is so important to deal with any problems at the root and that usually starts at home, this is where owners and their dogs spend the majority of time and where she can assess and gain a true picture of their relationship.

Sue also runs Fun Agility Classes and Pre-Agility classes. Pre-agility is for young dogs up to one year old and covers socialisation, obedience , fun games and puppy agility.

Sue loves positive training methods, and teaches a variety of methods including clicker training. She however recognizes the importance of discipline, and likens being a good leader to parental skills.

Her aim is to always keep training fun for dog and handler.
