Disciplines
The Guild welcomes members from the Gundog training discipline.
Most gundog trainers have an excellent grasp of all round basic
dog training as well as the more complicated training involved in
working your dog at distance on the shooting field. Many gundog
trainers train owners with pet gundogs that may or may not go shooting
but who want their dogs to be well trained and trained in the manner
of their breeding. Gamefairs across the country have raised awareness
to high standards of obedience expected in gundog training and,
with the advent of the Gundog Club, more and more people are turning
their attention to training their pets in this discipline for fun
and control.
We support and welcome applications from members of the following
