Alex acknowledges the need to cater for a rescue dog throughout the transitional period beginning from intake right through to post adoption
Alex works alongside local dog rescue in the UK, his experiences in Europe which are on-going, have allowed him to observe interact and learn the working practices of both continents giving him a broader view to the world of the rescue dog.
He acknowledges the need to cater for a dog throughout the transitional period beginning from intake right through to post adoption; an area he considers to be of great importance.
Alex strongly believes the rescue dog and owner should be guided at this critical time to establish the dog in its new environment. To accomplish a successful transition the implementation of realistic training and integration to the home are equally applied on a one to one basis.
Basic obedience training applicable to everyday life is encouraged along with teaching good manners in and out of the home.
Alex continues his studies with The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training for further development within the world of rescue.
