George is a registered dog psychologist and sheep dog trainer
George is a registered dog psychologist and sheep dog trainer. He has kept, bred, and trained dogs since early child hood. He lives on a farm in Yorkshire with his wife Susan and present pack of dogs. These dogs are a calming influence on other dogs and a large part of the psychological programmes.
Specialising in canine behavioural problems, George works with clients and their dogs on a one to one basis. He also runs socialisation and training classes. These classes are specifically designed to comply with and enhance the regime that has been devised following a home visit.
He is the canine consultant for BBC Radio Leeds with regular slots offering advice to dog owners. He also writes for The Northern Life magazine, writing features and producing case studies on dogs he has worked with and answers readers questions. George also lectures on the subject of the canine mind.
He strongly believes that training a dog must be done in various locations with normal distractions thus making the training authentic.
