Lynsey worked at a kennels for many years then set up her own canine care business and Sensible Dogs was born
Lynsey has spent most of her life with and around dogs, growing up with a multitude of dogs in her household and preferring their company to humans as a child, which shaped her for her future career.
She started work voluntarily at Animals in Distress in Ipplepen at the age of 13. She then went to work at kennels for a number of years, always knowing this is what she was meant to do. Whilst there she obtained a NVQ 2 in Animal Care and Welfare.
She then decided to set up her own canine care business and Sensible Dogs was born.
Sensible Dogs has been running for 9 years now and Lynsey is proud to offer a variety of services, she specialises in behavioural problems and one to one training, socialisation and works closely with rescues, rehabilitating and re-homing dogs.
Lynsey covers the South West of England for behavioural training. She offers one to one behavioural consultations, runs puppy, bronze, silver and gold classes under the Good Citizens Dog Scheme.
She receives vet referrals for behavioural consultations, assists the British Dalmatian Welfare with behavioural consultations and assessments and also assists Animals in Distress (a local rescue organisation) with behavioural advice.
She has passed a Diploma in Changing Dog Behaviour with distinction. Lynsey is also working towards her KC Accredited Instructors Scheme.
