Ben specialises in one to one Behavioural Rehabilitation with dogs and their owners to resolve a variety of complex behavioural issues.
Ben’s ambition has been to work with dogs from a very young age. Starting by working at a Veterinary Clinic and Boarding Kennels to gain experience, he then went on to complete his City and Guilds in Animal Care and Management At this time he embarked on work experience as part of his course. This lasted a long period of time at a Dog Training and Rehabilitation Centre.
Ben learnt all aspects of how the Behaviour Practitioner and the Rehabilitation trainers changed the life of the owners and dogs for the better. He then knew from this point that this was his ideal career.
Ben now specialises in one to one Behavioural Rehabilitation with dogs and their owners to resolve a variety of complex behavioural issues.
Ben has assisted Dean Hart MGoDT MCFBA, Behaviour Practitioner who is also on the Management Committee to set up a non profit making Dog Club in Newhaven. This is run by volunteer trainers under the supervision of Ben. One of the Club’s main objectives is to support and educate dog owners within the community and resolve dog related anti community behaviour.
Ben believes strongly in hands off, reward based approach to training and uses the application of animal learning theory as a successful method with his clients.
