Dean has worked as a Canine Behaviour Specialist over the past 15 years, working with both companion animals at home and with local rescue centres in assessing and modifying a range of behavioural problems.
Dean works as a Clinical Behavioural Advisor to several local veterinary practices and his specialist interests are animal learning theory and animal communication. Dean is passionate about promoting animal welfare especially within training and behaviour and is also a Full Member of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association.
He runs a busy behaviour clinic and dog training centre and manages two rehabilitation trainers. Dean also delivers entertaining lectures across the South East and is producing his first DVD on Canine Behaviour and an Interactive Canine education game for special needs children.
He has been invited to Hong Kong to set up canine rehabilitation classes for 2011 and will be promoting companion dog welfare during his stay. He is also on the management committee of the National Association of Canine Hydrotherapists and the behavioural advisor to The National Association of Accredited Myotherapists.
Dean is an Education Director and also lectures on several dog and animal management related topics with his wife who is a Dog Grooming specialist, within their own independent City and Guilds accredited College.
