Faith specialises in 121 puppy training, dog obedience training and behavioural issues for puppies, dogs and rescue dogs of all ages.
Faith offers a bespoke 121 training programme for your puppy or dog. Services include the puppy crash course, puppy advice, behaviour modification training and dog obedience training in the owner’s home and also outdoors in different environments like the park and local walks.
Early learning for puppies is crucial - as soon as puppies arrive in their new home, a training programme can be implemented, to help owners ensure the puppy’s development into a well behaved, sociable dog with nice manners.
Tilly a Shi-Tzu x Staffie is Faith’s young dog – she is socialised with people and other dogs and Faith walks her with 3-4 other small dogs, so any puppies in training can be socialised with this lovely group.
If there are any unwanted behaviours like separation anxiety, jumping up, excessive barking, pulling on the lead, destructive behaviour, or poor recall - these are some of the areas where Faith can offer strategies and advice.
Essential information is provided to owners, to help them learn and understand why their dog acts in certain ways. A behaviour programme can be put in place to help the dog adapt to new desired behaviours, like being obedient, well behaved and calm indoors and outdoors.
Although breed types have similar traits, every dog has an individual personality and is motivated by different things, like food, toys, touch or praise - these are always taken into account when training your dog.
Faith studies with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training to develop her skills and understanding of dogs and their behaviours.
Re homing rescue dogs is close to Faith’s heart and she also volunteers for a charity called Wild at Heart Foundation, carrying out home checks and offering advice to adopters to help settle rescue dogs into their new homes.
